MCP Server for AI Assistants
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any Model Context Protocol client to MyBoatGuru's boat advisor — including an actual interactive, click-through boat-finder quiz that runs right inside your conversation, not just a text summary of it.
What This Is
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants call external tools directly — and, for clients that support it, render interactive UI inline. MyBoatGuru runs a public MCP server so an AI assistant can launch an interactive boat-finder quiz, recommend boat types from a quick description, look up details, compare options, or pull a gear checklist for you, without you needing to leave your conversation and visit the site. Every response links back here for the full experience.

No account, API key, or setup required — it's public and read-only. Add it as a remote MCP
server in Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client that supports Streamable HTTP,
or find it in the
official MCP Registry
as com.myboatguru/boat-advisor.
Using ChatGPT? You can skip the manual setup and add the MyBoatGuru app to ChatGPT in one click.

Good to Know
- • Read-only — these tools never write, change, or delete anything on your behalf.
- • Rate limited — 30 requests per minute per IP address, to keep the service available for everyone.
- • Stateless — each request is handled independently; nothing from a previous call is remembered or used to personalize a later one.
- • Usage logging — we log anonymized usage (tool name, arguments, a hashed IP) to understand adoption. See our Privacy Policy for details.
